Personality: He's very honest, diligent, chivalrous and smart, and tries to always stay optimistic. He can be very serious when he needs to be. Marcus has no problem making difficult decisions and voicing his own opinion, which is a good trait for a future emperor. This does not mean however, that he does it in an inconsiderate way. Marcus is actually very gentle-natured and makes sure (as much as he can, since it's unavoidable sometimes) that he doesn't hurt the other person(s) feelings while voicing his opinions. Marcus also tries to always do the right thing, no matter what, and he tries to help people as much as he can. Marcus is very encouraging towards others, he's happy to be the one that can give them just that little bit of reassurance, or confidence they need to overcome their obstacles. Besides all that Marcus enjoys reading poetry, preferably with a nice cup of tea, and he also enjoys writing it himself, though he's not very good at it. He very much likes romance, which is why he often reads romantic poems or romance novels. However, this is a side of him people don't know about because he doesn't like to show it. Despite all this and being the prince, he feels very lonely.
Marcus never had friends growing up and he learned early enough not to be too trusting of people. Because he's the prince people like to take advantage of him, use him and his position to get what they want. Which is why he's build up a nice barrier, allowing no one inside. Well.. except for a certain maid perhaps..
