In order to get over this annoying art block I asked Gilau's permission if I could color her sketch. I've always loved it. And luckily she said yes.
Now as I was base coloring Knuckles I noticed she gave him cuts and a black eye. And somehow I got this idea of a apocalyptic background, where Knuckles is fighting for his life. Knowing he'll never make it, he'll still give it his all and charge forward! Kinda like Zack I suppose from Final Fantasy Crisis Core.
I'm not a fan of bloody pictures, and this is my first one, but in order to make it believable I needed to do that here.

I look at it with mixed feelings. I'm proud of the outcome, but like I said, not a fan of these kind of things..
I just hope gilau likes it, and all of you too, and that I did her wonderful sketch justice with my coloring.
