This is NOT a stock picture for you to use. It's mine.
Don't you dare steal it!
Please don't ignore, just because it's not Sonic related art work..
I'm very proud at how this came out! I didn't think I could pull it off. The bubbles could be more realistic but I have no clue who to do that..x.x There was only one decent tutorial but they didn't look like real bubbles to me.. oh well. The things I like the most, is the coral, the ruin and the sun shining in from the top of the water.^-^
Wow! I was looking for references of how to draw some underwater scenes, and I came across this one. It's no wonder people would love to use it as a stock pic! It's so beautifully done. ^_^ I particularly love the way you did the sunlight, and the rays coming through the water...
Do you do any sort of tutorials for your backgrounds, or certain elements? (Like the algae/moss hanging from those rocks? Absolutely incredible!)
Ah, the beauty of digital art: we can use brushes. XD In any case, it looks amazing, and I believe that tutorials are only as useful as the artist takes them to be. I can tell you must have practiced, and it's definitely paid off! Keep up the amazing work!
So true... I'm always amazed at what practice can do, even for arists who are already so talented. ^_^ And of course, in addition to the observations (which is so valuable in and of itself; most beauty and truth can be found in the world around), the PASSION to keep going!
yes that is definately true! I for one cannot draw (or draw well) without passion.^-^ It seems that if I am really passionate about a picture it looks way better than some I did that I didn't have such a connection with. And it seems that I can accomplish a lot more as well that way.
I understand what you mean.^^ I know! I might not be a writer but when I listen to music for example, this whole sort of movie pops into my head! It's hard to pic a still frame from it and draw that, I'd rather just make an animated movie out of it. XD; but sadly I lack the skill and technology for that. Gets frustrating when it doens't want to leave you alone.
*jaw drops* wow... I can't even describe how amazing this looks! the background... the ocean light ripple... the coral reef, the textures... *faints* THIS IS INCREDIBLE! Even the way things fade out as they get further away, truely beautiful ^^. This is one of your best background pictures ever! great job sweety! Truely amazing!
